I think the problem is the new firmware package (firmware-amd-graphics (20151018-2). I will release the
Alpha9 with the old firmwares (firmware-nonfree_0.44) in the
Kernel 4.5 thread.
zzd10h and Srtest, please test the
Alpha9.

Will you be applying the byte swap code to the 4.4 kernel and patch file?
Yes, I will do it next week.
Mechanic, sorry, it doesn't make any sense to build a new kernel 4.4 final with the byte swap code because there are some problems with some HD7750 and 7970 graphics cards. Please look in the
Kernel 4.5 thread. I am sorry.

Spectre660 has recently released the kernel
4.4.4 for the AmigaONE X1000.
New:

This kernel is different to my kernels and this is really fantastic. The kernel messages output use an other format (better format) and he added more kernel modules.

The nemo_4.4.patch included in the Spectre660 release seems to be missing the ethernet fix (arch/powerpc/Kconfig and arch/powerpc/kernel/dma.c). I built a 4.4.5 kernel using this patch and on-board ethernet was not working.
Will try again after manually applying the ethernet patch.

Yup, after applying the changes from nemo_4.4-12.patch to these files, ethernet is now working again.
