I keep reading all this talk about it. I read about people using it. But where is it?
According to a Google it is already released. And downloadable from A-EON website or bought from the AmiStore which isn't up yet.
The Live DVD sounds similar to an idea I had of an auto-booting and simpler Linux installer for the X1000. But when I asked about how to make an auto-boot CD for the X1000 I got no information back. I suppose you have to be in the inner circle to find out.
Anyway, is there an install guide I can read, that will be tell me how easy it is? Does it auto-boot? Does it set up a boot menu for you? I just don't know! It could all be vapour ware for all I know as all I see is talk and no substance. Please fill me in!.
Where can I find information about the Live Ubuntu Remix DVD

So all there still is now is a teaser PDF and some blogs Not even a video? Well this doesn't help much. Seems I wasted my time opening a new thread on a old topic.
I also went to the download and Linux section of the A-EON website but it was blank.

I gotta pay property tax by the 31st which is so high that I'll have no problem slipping in, such a tiny % of that, a order BY THE END OF THE MONTH.danbeaver wrote:The Amigakit Secretaryl "disavow[s] any knowledge of your actions."
But.... "its done, when its done".
Remind me once again the steps that may be used with the DVD to transfer the setup to my 2nd Terabyte drive.

Ah ha! So you admit the existence of such a DVD... Now how about the box?
Re: Where can I find information about the Live Ubuntu Remix
Might as well ask about if there will be any print on the box... and if it will be in color.danbeaver wrote:Ah ha! So you admit the existence of such a DVD... Now how about the box?
Alas, a nephew has come forward implying a desire for $500 lest his car be repossesed... out of work... no job in sight... that sort of thing. Its always good to be able have already placed an order (a preorder?) so "one's hands are tied! The money sought already spent elsewhere. So sorry!"
I guess I might as well hide until the 2nd paycheck in February before returning here wondering about a DVD
