no boot from cdrom

Post by musa »

Hi all.
After my X1000 has been dead for over half a year, there is life in it again.
I have been working on new installation of workbench to sshd.
All old bugs are gone now and I only have one problem left. I can not boot from a cdrom.
Here it's Amigaos4.1 FE.
If I boot from an amiga partition and then insert the CD amigaos4.1 FE and then do a soft reset, then the CD will boot into the installer.
Here below a photo where I try to bot manually from cfe
does anyone have an idea I could try
Thanks

EDIT:
The problem is solved.

Please post your solution as well.

From your screenshot i'd say that your CDROM might not have been the first hdd on the chain (1.0 instead of 0.0)?
