@blmara: (error message see above answer). hdaudio.device is X1000's motherboard audiochip/sound. Niether Mixer niether Mixer.docky works for you? :-(

Ok, I thought that was an error message. With the first part of my message I meant: is there a 'hdaudio.device' or just the hdaudio.audio driver, I didn't find the former in my X1000.
OOh, yes I just too dumb to write correctly sometimes, there is only 1 hdaudio file (being its name .device or .audio). Sorry for confussion.

Is a X1000 owner could be nice enough to try this short test, please ?

1) open APPDIR:MIXER (I will not use Arexx MasterUp/ Masterdown)
2) open a song with AAmp Tunenet or a video with MPlayer
3) all is fine, sound is OK
4) as soon as I move the master volume in Mixer GUI, sound is muted
5) If I close/reopen AAmp, Tunenet or MPlayer volume recomes OK
6) it remutes as soon as I move the master slider.

Have you the same problem ?

edit : of course before that you release hdaudio 6.22 + mixer, I used a SoundBlaster with Mixer (until 1 day ago) without this problem.

I tried this on my X1000 and it works fine. I can adjust the master slider down a little more than half way before I can't hear the music any more and it doesn't mute until the slider is all the way at the bottom of it's range. In fact, Mute doesn't even work on my setup with the new driver and the beta version of mixer. I can set mute on but it doesn't do anything.

Are you sure APPDIR:mixer is pointing to the beta version of mixer? I seem to remember a similiar problem with an older version of mixer. Just a thought.

Thanks for your reply.

"Are you sure APPDIR:mixer is pointing to the beta version of mixer? "
Yes because I removed my SoundBlaster, I only have the hdaudio and Mixer opens mentionning device "x1000".

Courage Javier, it should be hard to work on a bug(s) without the right computer ;)

Ok, new BETA (Mixer & Mixer.docky on same archive) with SOUNDCARD tooltype added to Mixer.

http://jabirulo.site90.com/temp/Mixer_BETA5.7z

@Layle oops I mean Lyle ;-) if you like/prefer another pack/archive method (LHA, LZX, ZIP,...) I can change. Using 7ZIP 'cos it compress better (~200KB and others ~400KB).

MIXER:
- SOUNDCARD=n argument/tootlype if you have a "second" soundcard (PCI). You can choose soundcard number to be active/enabled on startup (default: 0).

The "DOCKY_1_CLICK" crash not checked/fixed yet (didn't test it although).

MIXER.DOCKY:
-nothing changed/done yet.

Default hdaudio volumes value are all (3) to 0.0dB (or maybe is better to put all of them to MAX db (aka full volume)?)

Not better, now as soon as I open Mixer GUI, sound is muted and no way to increase it with Mixer (as before)

1) boot OS4
2) play a MP3 with AAmp is OK
3) open Mixer and sound is muted
4) no way to change the volume even with Max volume on my speaker=> no sound

Ok previous Mixer sound was "better" than BETA5, will recompile with default values set to MAX, give me an hour or so.
