ggw and Sam,
Thanks for the info.
The thing is, I had the same problem until I installed the new sb600 drivers and a EMU10k1 SBLive. However, I do not know which fixed the problem.
I did read a post on another site about another user having the same issue.
All I can tell you is if it does bother you, which it did me for playing MIDI, is to keep one channel of AHI open. This can be done by starting AmigaAMP3 playing a song and just click the stop button without shutting down the program. Be sure to set AmigaAMP to AHIUNIT=0 in it's Icon information.
Other suggestions welcome.

Today I put the card that came with my FC X1000 back in and the start noise returned.
Back to the SBLive!

Re: X1000 sound question [SOLVED]
I still have my AmigaOne with an SBLive in it. I'll swap this X1000 delivered sound card with it and see if I can save my ears.mechanic wrote:Today I put the card that came with my FC X1000 back in and the start noise returned.

If you need any info for AHI and Mixer regarding SBLive let me know. To bad they don't make these anymore. Best sound card I ever had.ggw wrote:mechanic wrote:.........and see if I can save my ears.

Re: X1000 sound question [SOLVED]
I get this pop sound on first run of any sound app. It is very annoying.

Have you tried the suggestion in the post at the top of this page?
