Oh, well,

Perhaps when you get your Sam, you will be able to connect its serial port to the X1k and see the debug output.
cheers

@musa

I got the same (prebuild) in my x1000.

It works with windows and a software serial logger (i.e. PuTTY).

You need the correct settings though.
I'm not at home and can't post the ones I use, but maybe others can.

Of course just like i and many others do. Just correct cable + putty on the win32 side. There is an article i wrote about: https://wiki.amigaos.net/wiki/Advanced_ ... ging_Guide

Check the part "Serial<->USB"

Do you know if there is anyone who sells a ready-made null modem set?

Proshop have both the cable and the adapter.

Here's a USB/serial adapter:

https://www.proshop.dk/Parallel-Seriel- ... er/2469179

It has a male serial plug, so you'd need a female to female null-modem cable, which is here:

https://www.proshop.dk/Parallel-Seriel- ... le/2472991

- but that says they have to order it, and it can take 12-13 days.

An alternative could be to get a male to female null-modem cable like this

https://www.proshop.dk/Parallel-Seriel- ... FM/2420040

- and a gender-changer like this

https://www.proshop.dk/Parallel-Seriel- ... FF/2478520

Yep, I'm in Ørholm north of Lyngby. Used to live in Nivå (Niverød) for a few years back in the seventies, actually :-).

I use a Corsair 450 W PSU in my Sam460ex, and that's working fine with a Radeon HD 5450, an SiI3114 SATA card, and a sound card (don't remember the exact name, but it's one of those with the coloured sockets spread over two separate backplates), plus a conventional HD and an SSD (and an internal SD card).

Best regards,

Niels

Hmm, it says "Varen er udgået" (item is discontinued), so that might be difficult. But I can see several others you can choose instead if you follow their link to similar items.

Best regards,

Niels
