Post by satiropan »

plus, if I buy the new kickstart, who is goig to burn an eprom for me? why don't you sell the emprom(s)?

Hi satiropan,
On that page you can purchase downloadable version of AmigaOS 4.1 FE for Classic Amiga and Kickstart 3.1 (40.72). That's the idea - to offer downloadable versions. Once you've paid, you can download the product. If you buy a digital image of Kickstart 3.1, you will also receive a Kickstart 1.3 image as a bonus.

I don't have an answer for your EPROM question. Maybe one of the Amiga dealers will sell the EPROM version in the future. Who knows.

anyway I already have the aos4.1fe, in the original cd version, so I don't need to buy the on line version. anyway I just wanted to know where is the on line sale for the announced new 3.1 version that is announced in the news page

Brussels, October 13, 2016
Hyperion Entertainment is pleased to announce the first official AmigaOS Workbench 3.1 and Kickstart 3.1 updates in over twenty years for Classic Amiga systems. The new versions, which have have been re-built from the original source code, include a number of enhancements and bug fixes and are fully compatible with both real Amiga hardware and Classic Amiga emulation software.
Each update can be purchased for only EUR 9.95 incl. VAT via the Buy now! link on their respective product pages. Buyers of both updates will get a 10% discount!

when I click to the link 'their respective product page', I just find the aos4.1fe and the new 3.1 kickstart to buy, there is no aos3.1 to download/buy.
I would also like to know, there are around many new kickstart images, even sold by vesalia and amigakit, how your new version is compared to those?

Ah, okay. You are absolutely right, it's missing from the direct download list. Thanks for pointing it out! I'll notify the web master.

We are currently facing some issues with that, so it is temporarily not available. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Seems like my mind wondered to an uncharted space and got lost
Lets hope Workbench 3.1 (40.43) comes available soon.

This is the page to keep an eye on of course: http://hyperion-entertainment.biz/index ... ktop-amiga

The workbench link is still not available:
-It's not listed here: http://hyperion-entertainment.biz/index ... -downloads
-The direct link does not exist anymore: http://hyperion-entertainment.biz/index ... ktop-amiga

Questions:
1-Were there issues with this?
2-If so, are these being fixed?
3-In any case, will this be available again at any point in time?
4-Will there be a discount for people that bought the kickstart rom already?
5-Is there an ETA for this workbench being available again?

Thanks.

Same question here. I would like to acquire the OS 3.1 (40.43) release (with the free copy of OS 1.3.3) as mentioned here (this link no more working).
Why isn't it available under the download section ?
