I wonder why WarpOS needs to be hardware-dependent.

Yes it is possible but WarpOS support is not a priority at this time.

There is nothing more I can tell you.

What's so good about WarpOS anyway? Was any significant software released for it?

quite a bit. i still use titles like fxpaint, perfectpaint, and wipeout 2097. basically anything which is 'powerpc-native' and released prior to OS4.

i really wish joerg were still about. :(

thats right eliyahu

games like wipeout 2097 heretic II and shogo.

games that i bought and played with lots of fun. till my CyberstormPPC died and only the 060 side works.

So guys like me who did spend a lot of money on games they now never can play again, thats a shame.

i always supported hyperion and there games.
i wish they still where making them. like Corky 17 , or even contacted titan for releasing there settlers 2 engine.
and do the same thing as with quake 2 you need the orig cd of the game to.

I like Os4.1 and cant wait for realy hardware 3d on radeonhd cards etc.
cant wait till 4.2 comes out :D

but some new games are welcome to, or a warpos wrapper like on the sam 440 pegasos 2 etc.

Let me re-iterate: WarpOS support is currently not a priority. There is nothing else to say about it.
