Is there somebody working on amigainput? I get crashes with amigainput and catweasel and now this one.

What have you done to get this crash?
Did you have a soundcard or other pci(E)-cards in your SAM460(?).

@Joeled,

AmigaInput is a little bit touchy so unless you are using a Hornet gamepad, your best bet would be to move the Hornet drivers out of the way.

Simply create a drawer Libs:AmigaInput/Off or Sys:Storage/Libs/AmigaInput/Off and move all the drivers you don't need to that location.

I only have the 3 Generic_ drivers and the PCI_Soundcard.driver left at their original location and it's enough to use the analog flight sim joystick on the audigy2 and the competition pro on the usb port.

The AmigaInput Catweasel problem has been reported to the author (AFAIK he is not part of the OS4 team).

yep, the problem is that, at the moment, there is no way to delete catweasel from AmigaInput even if you haven't that hardware installed on your system and even removing it from devs/dos driver doesn't help much.. it is still there..

PCI_CatweaselJoystick.driver
from
Libs:AmigaInput

No extra soundcard only the integrated one and two pci-e cards, satacard 3512 and a radeonhd. I´ve never seen this one before so its abit strange. I have a Digital Joystick to USB-Adapter http://amigaworld.net/modules/newbb/vie ... =33#666025 Catweasel makes it crash to but you already know that. Is there going to be an updated/rewritten version of amigainput in the future?

thanks for the hint! I didn't think about it.. I removed the catweasel.device and catweaselsid.device but i had to remove also the PCI_Catweaseljoystick.driver.. thanks again!

It looks like you also need to remove "PCI_SoundCardHornet.driver" from the Sys:Libs/AmigaInput folder. Something like this from the Shell should work:

CD Libs:AmigaInput
MakeDir disabled
Move PCI_CatweaselJoystick.driver TO disabled
Move PCI_SoundCardHornet.driver TO disabled

Then wait for harddisk activity to finish, and then reboot.
