Status of AmigaOS

Post by Raziel »

Can someone tell me, please?

What is the current status of AmigaOS?

Is there a website that summarizes it somewhere?

Especially upcoming bug fixes/updates/releases?
Time frame?
Roadmap?
Focus?
Current status of OS dev parts, like multicore, system-wide enhanced ram (>2GB) etc.
anything?

What is still under control of Hyperion, what is AEon/AmigaKit?

What is the EOL policy regarding hardware?
Which hardware models are still targeted for further updates/multicore?
(Are there still plans to support the x1000 hw series?)

Maybe I'm missing all the announcements, but it seems PR went silent for a long time now.

I'd rather see voiced or written updates than another "show" with "announcements" that never surfaces - my personal opinion only

thanks a lot

Those answers are *very* reassuring...
