I boot the Kernel3.14-rc2 without Radeon.dpm=0 and it works ;) Trevor, could you test it too, please? Tested your new kernel 13.3.2 without Radeon.dpm=0 command and it appears to work well with RadeonHD 6870 installed. Strange, the Vmlinux-3.14-rc2 kernel work fine with my on-board Audio and my Live Ubuntux remix HDD installation?danbeaver wrote:Vmlinux-3.14-rc2 used with the Live Remix DVD does not show the on-board sound device and hence no sound output on my system.

kilaueabart, You have done nothing wrong. It seems there is an issue with only 1GB of RAM installed. This has now been confirmed elsewhere.
