Re: DataTypes Descriptors...

I tend to use the old Commodore tool "dtdesc" as it's so easy to use.
Maybe this can be added to the SDK?

Re: Use different language and keymap

Yes, I have mixed keymap file with language driver. Still the question is open: can I access sources of language drivers contributed in the system? Don't like to recreate it instead of changing only keymap. The source is in the SDK, they have to be compiled as various charset sorting tables and fun...

Re: Use different language and keymap

I would like to use ISO8859-2 charset, but english language locale. AFAIK I have to compile a special file for Devs:KeyMaps/ The SDK seems to have only an example keymap source. Can I have all keymap sources to be able just modify the charset and recompile it? Or is there other way to force english...

Re: Library interface in devices

Thanks Tony, appreciated.

I was wondering if I needed to regenerate the files with fdtrans, but wasn't sure how to even get a .device out of it (I'm using old source code and don't have the original files that were apparently passed through fdtrans).

Library interface in devices

Are the steps to add a library interface to a device documented anywhere?
Is there any example source code for a .device with a library interface?

Re: XXX_SoftStyle for all gadgets

Try GA_TextAttr. You can get the screen's TextAttr from the Screen structure or (better) using GetScreenAttr. Copy and modify ta_Style to add FSF_BOLD, and pass this. It's not quite as easy, but it should work for all gadgetclass subclasses. Another option is to create the string using label.image a...

Re: menuclass not as dynamic as suggested

Ah, fixed it. I'd taken out the MA_ID of my T_MENU items at one point to try to solve another problem, so it wasn't finding the ID in the menu and hence not removing the items.

Thanks anyway.

Re: menuclass not as dynamic as suggested

Hmm, odd, I must be doing something wrong then. This is the function which deletes and re-adds the items: void ami_menu_refresh(struct Menu *menu, struct ami_menu_data **md, int menu_item, int max, nserror (*cb)(struct ami_menu_data **md)) { #ifdef __amigaos4__ Object *restrict obj; Object *restrict...

menuclass not as dynamic as suggested

The wiki says: A BOOPSI menu tree built with menuclass allows for dynamic addition and removal of menus and items at any time. As with other modifications, there's no need to detach the menu tree from the window in order to perform these operations; it's menuclass that takes care of synchronizing ea...
