Re: Spectre660's Linux downloads for the X5000

Hi, to all. I'm new in Linux. Install Lubuntu 16.04 LTS3 with your last kernel 4.9.61. Works, a bit slow, but works, make the system updates and try TuxKarts. I only get a blank window with the name, so I think that I make something wrong. What ? Install other simple game ( power manga )and it work...

Re: New X5000 owner - USB issues

I have same, and other problems with keyboards in the X5000.
Tested some different keyboards and mouses, with and without cord.
The only brand that work in all models is Logitech.

Re: Keyboard slowing down boot process over 20 secs

I noticed a strange thing when I tested booting without my keyboard connected... The X5000 booted over 20 secs faster without the keyboard connected than with it! And it was the boot animation which was affected: it run much faster when the Keyboard was unplugged. What was most pecular, disconnecti...

Re: Low level access to X5000 realtime clock

Yes, if conect the other keyboard, the clock don't work. The clock shows in every boot the same time. It does not maintain it, I start the equipment, I adjust the hour. But when I turn it off and on again, show 12:00 on 01/01/2011. This on every boot. With the actual keyboard, the time and date it's...

Re: Low level access to X5000 realtime clock

Huh? What has your (Ribdevil's) USB keyboard issue to do with Roland's inability to set the hardware clock? I don't know, but the syntoms are the same. One more problem are, that the keyboard did not work during boot. Virginio If you connect again the problematic keybord and boot, is the realtime c...
