Re: Need help with Debian Linux install
Another "possible" typo for Linux Manual. In this statement you recommend we "right-click on the xserver-xorg-video-radeon package and select Mark for Upgrade." for handling the white cursor issue. I show that one is already running on this basic install. The problem is the one ...

Re: Adding 2nd Hard Drive to X1000
It does matter if you want to be able to boot off this 2nd hard drive. Only SATA ports 0 and 2 are bootable. Kind regards, Dennis Does that include booting for Linux? I need to better understand the SATA connections then as stock. I see the two SATA ports more inward on the motherboard are used for...

Re: Installing a Multi-Function Floppy/Card Reader
i purchased a Bytecc Xtreme Digital Media Drive into my system. Currently it is hooked up to nothing outside of the power cable while it waits for a new Catweasel to replace the discontinued MK4 Plus . Currently i can't find any Catweasels for sale - no biggie at the moment as there are no free PCI...

Re: Supported Graphics cards for AmigaOne XE
I have a spare 9600 AGP card, would this work? Also are the HD3xxx and HD4xxx AGP cards supported? Thanks for any advice. Andy. None of these will work. They all require an AGP 4x or better slot i.e. one which uses 1.5v signalling. The A1 has a 2x (3.3v) slot without the required Key to prevent an ...

Re: Best graphics card (AGP) for my G4 AmigaOne XE
In the past i've tried the 9800PRO on my A1 and yes it works. of course it works only with 2D. Could you the exact dates of your graphics card (9800PRO) indicate? Then I would find it easier to one of the same type! As has been mentioned before if you intend to use 3D the 9000pro is the best choice...

Re: First keyboard press eaten...
Can anyone confirm the "first key after reboot won't repeat" problem I reported in my corrected response? To reproduce: Reboot, open a shell, press-and-hold a key and see if it repeats. I have the latest UBoot installed on my SAM Flex with OS4.1u2. The only thing unusual that might affect...

Re: First keyboard press eaten...
I suppose this one might already reported somewhere, so just for the record: On my SAM440ep (mini), UBoot 1.3.1b,... Are you sure it's Uboot 1...b ? Version 1...d can be found here: http://www.acube-systems.biz/index.php?page=hardware&pid=1 There was an OS4 bug reported and fixed in uhci.usbhcd...

Strange Keyboard problem
Hi All, I've just replaced my full size PS2 keyboard with a mini keyboard. This is a USB keyboard but came fitted with a USB to PS2 adaptor. During boot UBoot this initialises properly. I can access the UBoot menu fine. However once OS4.1 has loaded it stops working, well it does if it is in the PS2...

Re: rescan SATA bus
as soon as the external HD is recognized by "mounter", the mounting of paritions itself is not an issue. I have mountlists for this purpose (created by GiggleDisk -- very useful tool). Mounter is a passive tool, it does not change the devices available on your machine! It is only of use f...
