Re: CF slot
I've never heard of a "microdrive". I had to look it up in Wikipedia to find out what it is. Certainly I've never tried one in the CF slot, so I don't guarantee that it will work. The Wikipedia article does not describe the pinouts, so I can't even guess. I can tell you that the CF driver ...

Re: Issue with shell command "List"
This problem has been highlighted recently and I am currently taking a look at the code. The problem is that directory names have to be enclosed in quotes to preserve the "funny" characters like parentheses, commas and the like. File names are already protected. There are many places throu...

Re: Uboot manual
The CPUs are very different and the memory map is different, so, as a result, the initialisation functions in U-Boot are different.

Re: New install on SSD problems
When you "updated the CFE menu item", did you remember to include the "-p" option on the command line, so that the new content was saved? Otherwise it would have lasted only for that boot.

Re: Uboot manual
There are not many MorphOS experts on this forum. For MorphOS support, you would be better off asking somewhere else.
U-Boot has a "help" command which will give you some clues. It's a Unix thing, so is incomprehensible to me. Maybe someone else can direct you to some readable docs.

Re: Keyboard randomly (not)recognized by AmigaOS
Not a satisfactory reply, I know, but perhaps if you tried another keyboard? I have a variety of different keyboards here on my eight Amigas and they don't all work on all Sams. Whenever I move machines about, I always forget and end up having to select a keyboard/mouse combo that works with that Sa...

Re: Hard drive format
The only settings that work for "bootable_only" are "y", "Y", and "1". Everything else is taken as "No".
So setting it to "4" is the same as not setting it at all.

Re: OHCI-related crashes on X1000
I don't have access to the sources, but I checked the ReleaseNotes and they certainly discuss the implementation and changes over time to the Interrupt handling.

Re: Test request to all X5000 owners!
There are two device drivers written for the X-5000 and A-1222 machines. The first one released was written by a third party, not by Hyperion, and it uses a fixed MAC address.
The Hyperion device driver correctly reads the MAC addresses from the board and uses them properly.
