Re: X5000
Yup, I tried opening my passwords file in SQL Lite Manager and it displays "1654: Misuse of function!" I'm aware that the file is human readable - indeed, since it became trashed I have replied upon that to find my old passwords. ;) I'm not too worried about security - I think anyone other...

Re: X5000
I have seen that Odyssey can't save or retrieve cached passwords anymore, although I don't know what would cause that. Take a look at Windows/Passwords and see if "Remember" is flagged at the end. I guess the "Password Saving" is built in, i didn't find a setting to turn it on o...

Re: USB Stack Issue still unsolved...
I'm not sure to what extent the USB stack can be blamed, as some of the problems can probably be attributed to the hardware. Yes, it's so rarely happens that I can't nail down what causes it. I've had the machine 2 years come May, and it's probably happened 5 times. On my X5000, it looks like the U...

Re: USB Stack Issue still unsolved...
I have some occassional problems with my X5000, although I couldn't say for sure what causes it. Sometimes upon boot, the mouse doesn't work properly. There's no movement up and down, and moving the mouse side to side drags the screen up and down. My only recourse is to re-boot. I never had any prob...

Re: X5000
I must protest Davey! All those applications work just fine on an NGFS partition. Were it not so, I would have fixed it. My apologies. I recall reading that Odyssey had problems with indexing on NGFS. I had Amicygnix on its own SFS/02 partition on my A1XE, perhaps I just carried that over to my X50...

Re: X5000
File system recommended for the X5000's disks is the NGFS, you can check what FS is used for your disk in mediatoolbox or by right click on disk icon and choosing "Information". I recommend using at least 1 non-boot SFS/02 partition, as some applications don't like being run from NGFS (Od...

Not exactly... been having some stability issues, and from that sprang the realisation that I can't boot from CD anymore.nbache wrote:Sorry, didn't notice the two threads were about the same issue.

Re: AmigaOS maximum resolution (Radeon R5 230)
On a side note: the on-board HDMI port on the Radeon R5 230 doesn't seem to work once entering both AmigaOS or MorpOS graphical modes. I have tried that as a work-a-round first. Don't know what is causing that but that's another issue ;) I had a similar problem when I first built my X5000 in May 20...
