Re: Pivot monitor support on driver level?

Yeah, I can see it may not be quite as simple. I tend to think in single-screen terms because I almost never use more than one (big) screen myself. But each screen is created with a certain screenmode of a certain monitor definition, right? So in theory, if we could make "something" detact that the ...

Re: Kernel 5.3

No, I have clicked on that square, got the check mark, then logged on dozens of times by now. Including the time before this, a few minutes ago. It never does any good. Hmm, sounds like the cookie isn't saved - maybe something in the browser settings is set to not accept/save cookies? Another sligh...

Re: Pivot monitor support on driver level?

Unfortunately, nowhere in the published spec (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EDID) is monitor orientation mentioned. Just speculating: Is it possible that on other platforms this is handled by the monitor reporting a new (rotated) native resolution when it is rotated, and the driver being able t...

Re: Kernel 5.3

IOn Ubuntu I can easily use Hyperion Message Boards with Arctic Fox. Why do I always have to log in if I go there on Fienix? I always end up switching to New Moon, which knows who I am. On the login page, there's a checkbox "login automatically each visit" or similar. Did you forget to set that? It...

Re: Trying to find X5000 U-Boot File

Bootsd.resource is not UBoot, it is a resource in the OS used to interact with it.

Getting an update to UBoot (including documentation and guidelines for installing and using it correctly) is something your dealer should help you with.

You're probably thinking of AllKeys by Deniil. It's on OS4Depot: http://os4depot.net/index.php?function= ... llkeys.lha

Re: Updates do not work properly

Yes, that sounds right. You can study more closely what it does by saving the log (go into the Updates prefs on the last tab and set a destination on disk for the log, and optionally also set the checkmark below it to get a more detailed log file).

And hello back to you :-).

Re: support for Radeon RX580

In that case you should get the Enhancer software by A-Eon, it contains those components. They are not developed as part of OS4.

Re: Updates do not work properly

@nbache I see in the log of version 2.39, that we check the versions of all resources from the sites that host it. Is this operation still in progress? Version 2.39 of what? AmiUpdate? Or the French catalogs? The releasenotes of AmiUpdate 2.39 say: AmiUpdate 2.39 (24.9.2015) - Fixed support for X50...

Editing is done by displaying the entry, then typing your corrections into the relevant fields, and finally hitting Save.
