Splendid!
Yeah, that looks like the unfortunate effect of someone having second thoughts about where CatComp should belong.
Then again, the AppDir: concept could be your saviour, once you have executed the correct CatComp once.

5. Now re-create the .ct file, but using the existing one as a starting point: 7.RAM Disk:> catcomp prefs.cd prefs.ct CTFILE prefs.ct When I do this, I always create a separate file. Normally by renaming the old file to e.g. prefs.cdx before running the command. So I wouldn't have seen this "i...

Re: CatComp doc outdated?
Maybe the changes between 52.12 and 53.1 are not big enough to update the document, or maybe the document is indeed outdated, I don't know. Can someone confirm this? It looks like the document wasn't updated for those changes which are, granted, not huge. I have made a Bugzilla entry so it is not f...

Re: Supported Graphics cards for AmigaOne XE
I have 9250 AGP cards in both my A1s (G3 and G4 XEs), working fine. Of course this means you can't have anything in the fast PCI slot next to the AGP slot, only in the three other ones.Hypex wrote:I recommended a 9250 to an A1 owning friend. But is AGP okay for a 9250?

Might not be totally obvious to everybody, but have a look at the files about the launch-handler in SYS:Documentation/handlers.glames wrote:Could someone tell me where to look at in Autodocs?

Re: Timezone.library bug
Ah well if thats the case then the Default Settings in Prefs need changing in a future AmigaOS install. No they don't, since as Chris wrote: The reason asking is the default is because some software can get upset if the time is changed backwards (if you are playing an anim, you might have to wait a...

Sorry, I didn't notice the section was Classic; I'm using it in an NG Amiga.Calgor wrote:RTL 8169 isn't listed in the hardware compatibility list. Did you have to do anything special to get it to work? Does it also work under OS3.9?

Re: Icon Scaling engine *feature request*
Maybe this could be implemented in "True Amiga Style" (tm) by defining a Tooltype like "NOSCALE" which icon.library could parse. Easy-peasy for long time users, a pain for newbies. But should be rather simple to code. ;) Sounds logical, hopefully it would not slow down things to...

Now who's bright idea was it to only include drivers for PCI cards obsolete and almost impossible to find a decade ago. Really 8029 come on. Could you not do a driver for a card made in the last five years and that somebody would have a chance of finding. somebody needs a flogging The RTL drivers h...

Re: Problem with Slimline CDRW/DVD Drives and MicroA1
Yes, I could post it there but unfortunately I think the problem lies in U-Boot and since no one is likely to update u-boot for such an old machine, I think I may as well call it a day. Well, it sounds like the first step would be to find someone who could explain the error message and possibly sug...
