Re: Icons

Hi! Wonder if anyone can suggest a nice set of Icons for Games (drawers and Icons) for Games? Quake, Doom, etc? I grabbed everything from OS4 Deport & IntuitionBase, but didn't seen to have anything suitable there, really after something to match the Masons Icons in OS4.1 :ugeek: Did you try Mason'...

Re: SAM440 freezes using both ethernet ports

don't forget that those "other OSs" can afford to make sure drivers will always be available for whatever hardware they may find themselves having to use. If e.g. I had installed OS 4.1 on my A1200, and it had had a default network setup included, my machine would most likely fail to boot after ins...

Re: SAM440 freezes using both ethernet ports

By all means give the user the choice to configure stuff, but networking/AHI/etc should have default configs that "just work" in the common case. AHI sound being muted out-of-the-box is another pet hate of mine, and makes no sense to me (no other OS does this either). That would of course be nice. ...

Re: PCI SATA Raid Cards on A1200/Mediator

Cool... Might be a good idea to copy back the kickstart drawer from your native IDE disk to your sata sys: partition. I say this as update 3 will no doubt install new kickstart modules to sys:kickstart Once update 3 is installed you'll need to copy the contents of sys:kickstart to your native ide d...

Re: SAM440 freezes using both ethernet ports

P.S. I really wish OS4 would come with a default networking config that assumes DHCP works, as then OS4 networking would be "plug & go" for most users, rather than "stare in horror at networking jargon in RoadShow prefs & then give-up ever trying to connect OS4 to the internet" :-( If you connect t...

Re: Various smaller bugs

OK, I'm attaching a screenshot to clearify... see "Scrollbar.png". Scrollbar.png Okay, I see what you mean. In fact I find its behaviour logical; as long as we accept as a feature, not a bug, that it is possible to expand the window area (in effect adding new empty space to the right of the icons) ...

Re: Various smaller bugs

WB-Windows: - After dragging the slider, the size of the slider is not being recalculated. It then indicates to have some content even if there isn't. The recalculation only happens when resizing the window or pressing a slider-arrow. I can't reproduce this (at least not immediately). You may need ...

Re: c:copy command and links

I agree, I'd like this too. It has been discussed before, AFAIR. It is not so simple, though, as it would also have to be checked whether the target of the link is inside or outside the directory hierarchy being copied. If inside, the link must be created after the target has been created in the cop...

Thanks for the hint! I didn't see it at all, possibly because it is in very small text (which implies it is "unimportant").
Heh - sometimes the small print is the most important to read ;-).

Best regards,

Re: Please add a "recent replied topics"

I also use "View unread posts" and fnd it even more convenient than the other forums' solutions with recent threads. And additionally there's the "First unread post" at the top of thread pages. Together, they make it really fast to catch up for me.

Best regards,
