Need to test a 512MB card and well as a powered pciex1 to pciex16 riser cable.
If either or both work in various combinations then there will be many more options available to us.
Any news on the tests? :-)

Re: Dual Graphics Cards

Under AmigaOS 4.1FE Update1 my system uses approximately 121W. Radeon R7-250 running the Warp3D Nova Logo demo . Under Ubuntu 16.04 approximately 90W. ATI FireMV 2250 running Torcs racing game in a window. (Graphics not properly render due to the older OpenGl capabilities of the video card). The 2 ...

Re: Dual Graphics Cards

Great work :-) Please keep us informed of your progress. Btw: Does anybody know how much power a X5000 draws? I am unsure if I have enough power to install a second card. I have a high quality but also rather small power supply installed (Enermax 450W) and a R9 270X 2GB graphics card. http://www.sap...

Re: Skip UBoot animation?

U-Boot is not a Hyperion product, so I suggest you contact AmigaKit/A-Eon for the latest copy. They can also give you the little utility that will update it for you under OS4, without using U-Boot itself (requires a running OS4 system, of course). I know :-) Have been in contact with Trevor but sin...

I second that! :D

If anybody could upload the latest Uboot, that would be great. I am running the older "Costel-version" and I would very much like to get my boot time dowm.

Thank you in advance!

Thank you. Could not decrease but increasing a couple of MB did the trick :) .

Re: (X)(L)ubuntu (MATE) 17.04 Zesty Zapus

I finally got around to installing the RC7 version. I am running it with the latest 4.12 kernel that Sinan made. Works very :-) Still no 3D acceleration on my Radeon 270X but that was to be expected. Right? I am using the fbdev driver in xorg.conf I now have sound (I think it is the kernel) :D. One ...

Re: (X)(L)ubuntu (MATE) 17.04 Zesty Zapus

Hi JohnFante, There isn't hardware 3D acceleration available for Radeon HD7xxx and higher. You need a Radeon HD6xxx or lower. I asked Sinan because of the support for the Envy24HT PCIe sound card and the Asus bt201 bluetooth dongle. Cheers, Christian Thank you! Crossing fingers for 3D on SI GPU#s s...
