Re: Kernel 5.0
Results: PASEMI onboard ethernet works and the X5000 (P5020 board) boots. I also successfully tested sound, hardware 3D acceleration, Bluetooth, network, booting with a label etc. The uImages work also in a virtual e5500 quad-core QEMU machine. Does this mean that the onboard ethernet on the X5000 ...

Re: Fienix - New PowerPC Distro
@caseycullen. Thank you for this great new distro :-) Just a quick question: Is it possible to enable wifi in it? I use the built-in ethernet port in OS4 and a wifi dongle (supported in Remix) for linux. I am not the big Debian wizz so a bit unsure how to enable wifi and get online. Thank you in adv...

Re: Updated install instructions
Your idea is great but I don’t know how to start. We have so many distributions (Ubuntu, Fedora, openSUSE, SliTaz, Debian, MATE PowerPC Remix, Live DVD distributions, Live USB distributions, PPC64 and PPC32 distributions, several versions of the distributions etc etc). Actually I have to write for ...

Updated install instructions
@xeno74 and others! First: A great thank you for all your work for linux on the X5000 :-) Second: A thought/idea/suggestions! Since there are new users coming to the X5000 all the time (not in great numbers but there is movement :-)) it could be beneficial with a stickypost in the top of the Linux s...

Re: Dual Graphics Cards
Just started using a usb Ethernet for linux https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B013G4C8RE/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Does the built in ethernet in the X5000 not work with the latest kernel 4.19? Been away from the forum for a while so sorry in advance if this already have been c...

Re: Dual Graphics Cards
Attaching a fan to the ATI Fire Pro 2260 keeps the temperature down. Best location seems to be at the end of the card rather than the middle. Using a 40mm fan. Thank you :-) Two questions (and sorry in advance if this has been answered before): 1) With the new ethernet drivers for AmigaOS the inbui...

Re: Mupen64Plus
I would prefer working videocard drivers for the X5000 videocard. R7 Radeon series. :-( Not gonna happen... I totally agree ... And lets not give up yet ... Here is a picture of a X5000 PPC Linux users waiting for 3D support for his fancy R9 ... http://mediad.publicbroadcasting.net/p/kmuw/files/sty...
