Re: How to install Linux kernel?

I have an external 2TB HDD I want to install Debian Jessie on my SAM460ex.

I read the install topic, but what file format to format my USB HDD? SFS2 with ulb.dn as boot file?

Two partitions for Linux? If so, how big should they be?

Thanks for any help in advance :)

Status of AmigaOS 4.1 FE bugfixes?

Is there any current status of the upcoming, multiple bugfixes for AmigaOS 4.1 Final Edition? Now that things finally are starting to run properly again and more seriously, it would be nice to know the status of updates for AmigaOS 4.1 Final Edition, that will fix the multiple various bugs. Hope the...

I have a CD with Lubuntu 15.04 and latest Kernel 4.x.x Final for SAM460ex. While i'm sure there is an Installer in Lubuntu, i wonder about one thing. How to install the lates...

Re: Hyperion Games- Where to buy?

Sadly but most (if not all) hyperion games will not works on os4.x anymore. At least Shogo and Heretic don't works. Also no more warpos support not for x1000, not for x5000, probably also not for sams if i remember right. In other words, don't waste your time with those old games, they "ok&quo...

Re: Uninstall into Installer feature

@Chris While i do agree with you on all this, it would still feel more professional to have the Uninstall feature to remove unwanted stuffs that have been installed. This feature is starting to become more used in standalone programs now, which is very good. So using this option to quickly remove an...

Uninstall into Installer feature

When installing things on AmigaOS4, you never actually see an Uninstall feature. Would it be a good idea to include an option to Uninstall unwanted stuffs? Such a feature could be added to all programs and tools that use the Installer, but when you want to remove something installed, you could choos...

Re: Another system freeze

@Xenic
If you still have a backup of your Update 6 setup, then it can be a good idea to turn back to Update 6 and rather wait until the numberous bugs are fixed in FE.

I'm actually considering doing the same...

Re: Another system freeze

It's better to use SFS/02, but for compatbility with more old software and stuffs, one partition can use SFS/00. Like others say, FFS is obsolete. So is JFXS, that is no longer supported. Out of topic, but the many different freeze situations in FE make it quite worrying...Really hope they will be f...
