I have put the amigaboot.of in the cf card drawer and now when i boot the cfe says the same as before except at the end it says 'file system not recognized',
while before it said "file not found"

not the trashcan, but the window

Yes,the CF card loads to workbench as CF0.
If I open it there is a trashcan in there. Do I just drop the amigaboot.of file in there?

I have the system running from the fe cd.
How do I copy the amigaboot file to the cf card?

Hello, Finally decided to install FE. All seemed to go OK and workbench loaded. I had the problem with the CF card that has come up before on the forum, so I removed it. set my screenmode, sound etc rebooted and fine. Inserted the cf card and formatted it to use on the x1000, Now when I boot I am st...

Fiddling about with media toolbox and tried to make dho larger.
When I rebooted I got the the message ' not a dos disk in device dh0
process:6 "initial cli"

What have I done?

Working now, had all the settings correct except units 0 to 3 were not at full volume.

I did an amiupdate and downloaded the new HDaudio driver.
I rebooted but now I have no sound.
Do I need to alter any settings?

I am running now in 16bit and compositing off but no difference, still poor graphics on the main character.
