Re: Entering BootMenu fails (BVisionPPC 4.1FE)
Who's bright idea was it?! I guess this kind of setup is unique to a point of one at most, and that's the only setup of who has done it. Ideal config in that case: OS4 running on A1200 with VGA monitor running on AGA chipset and a video card available and not used for some reason. and probably 2 VG...

Re: AmigaOS 4.1 Final Edition for classic
ENV:Warp3D/Permedia2/DisableAdditiveBlending When set to "on", the emulated additive blending (that was introduced the V4) is disabled. This fixes issues with Wipeout2097's exhaust trails but makes Heretic2, Quake3 etc. look awful. In order to address the problem above, you can create env...

Re: Entering BootMenu fails (BVisionPPC 4.1FE)
I have tested some more and the Early Startup Menu is definitely working but it is only being displayed through the onboard RGB/RF ports and not the BVision at all. Ahem....guys, please read the FAQ on the ISO....from page 2 of the Classic FAQ: The AmigaOS 4.1 Final Edition Boot Menu (Early Startup...

Re: Changing SWAP priority
I assume a lot of new users (like myself) is running 4.1 under the latest WinUAE. Will there be an option to make the Z3 seen as as real memory or at least a user option to change it somehow ? I don't think that the limitations from the real hardware will be visible in such a environment. Such move...

Re: AmigaOS 4.1 Final Edition for classic
so now that AOS4.1 FE is released can anyone list what classic owners will benefit from it besides the new shell ? do we get scsi support for blizzardppc ? do we get a working 3D driver for permedia2 ? those are the minimal requirements for me to buy it, because as I wrote before, these are crippli...

Re: AmigaOS 4.1 Final Edition for classic
It can be fixed via an updated Boot Floppy, so a new ISO is not required. I will post the info on the fixed boot floppy once I have it, which hopefully will be soon. Make a backup of your bootfloppy disc then:- This is better than nothing but still we can't boot from CD (like A4000 users can) and i...

Re: AmigaOS 4.1 final edition?
Sadly, with just two weeks to go, I think the prospect of anyone getting a boxed copy of FE in their Christmas stocking is vanishingly small. This is a real shame, as I am sure the developers have worked tirelessly to meet the Christmas window. Really, really hope that I am proven wrong. You are wr...

Re: AmigaOS 4.1 Final Edition for classic
Although I remember your prior post, I too was surprised that such a simple issue had reportedly not been fixed; but mistakes do happen, so I hope you will be able to dial down your anger from the "11" setting. Maybe some fixed cds can be burned exclusively for A3000 owners? It can be fix...

Re: AmigaOS 4.1 Final Edition for classic
I don´t think, that there is a need for a new Betatester for an END-OF-LIFE Product..... there will be of course for an upcomming 4.2 if this is available for classic. But as you know. Ask for an Information and get nothing..... only silence.... I think there hasn't been any decision made yet...

Well I don't know anything about that. I was just talking about the pseudo-DMA capability.Rotzloeffel wrote:
