Thanks guys! Hope it's useful for you. Already used it to install a latest kernel.

Presenting the X1Boot Manager!
Hello everyone! I'm excited to finally release the X1Boot Manager into the X1000 Linux world! :-D The X1Boot Manager is the culmination of a two year research and development project and then some I call the X1Boot Project. The aim of the X1Boot Project was to prove if: 1. Linux could be booted dire...

Re: Fienix package manager?
I tried dpkg and yes it works but it doesn't work from the desktop. I'm after a desktop frontend so I can open a file on the desktop and install it that way.

Fienix package manager?
Hello. I've been wanting to install some deb files but found my Fienix install doesn't have a desktop package manager. It has Synaptic but it won't handle debs. In the least I can't see a way to open debs with it. All debs open up in Egrampa and it won't let me use Synaptic. I'm a bit lost here. I t...

Issue logging in
Hi.
I have been seeing an issue when logging in. I keep getting a "form invalid" error when sending the log in. When I am able to log in it tends to time out before I can post a message. I have seen this behaviour on other forums but haven't seen it here.

Re: Amiga Fast File System (AFFS or FFS)
Hi I do not know if it can be used for anything but I use this method and it works fine for me. Thanks musa. I got stuck on this recently. It would mount fine but then files couldn't be written. Generally 777 is not recommended as it's a security risk. However for Amiga files, that can generally be...

Can someone tell me what this memory output should be?
Hi guys. For verfication, can someone run these CFE memory commands, so I can see what values they should return? Thanks. testdram memorytest randmemtest I'm interested to know what the commands testdram, memorytest and randmemtest are meant to return. Especially with randmemtest, I don't understand...

Re: Power supply glitch?
]Ah, maybe you mean the UBoot "prefs" program. Yeah, it had, IIRC, a number of problems, not to mention it had to be changed whenever someone dreamt up a new NV variable. I think it was simply deemed too much trouble for its worth. After all, you still had the UBoot menus as well as the a...

Hard crash corrupting memory chips?
Hi guys. I've been debugging a program I'm working on. I changed some things around in an attempt to clean up some operations and found it had the opposite effect of crashing my program. I eventually determined what was going on from a cryptic crash log and restored the code, which had been working ...
