Re: Sometimes the X1000 doesn't boot

No such problems here, I've only ever connected to the internal ethernet port once via linux.

A little tip... Try the c:nvgetvar command. it lists your CFE settings so you can just cut'n'paste the text instead of messing about grabbing screens and uploading them.

Re: Problem with DiskImageGUI

Or you could try something really silly like I do. I use XADFileSysytem to mount a lha of the installed AISS as a TBimages: device. So far only 1 program has failed to work properly (ADRipper). for me the big benefit is when I regularly backup sys: there's only 1 6.5mb file to copy instead of 5830 s...

Re: X1000 graphics corruption

Another already known one is the wrong drawing of Dopus 4 lister arrow bottons. AFAIK these errors are still Radeon HD driver related. And I can confirm all the other ones (except no. 3*) you mentioned. Especially the PPaint corruption is really annoying. *: Did you set up Dopus 4 on a composition ...

Re: Fullscreen Warp3D games with a dual GFX setup

One thing you could try is to set the R9250 as your main card by renaming PCIGRAPHICS in devs monitors as 'Radeon 9250' and the HD6670 as PCIGRAPHICS, you'll boot from the 9250 etc. but can still use the 6670 for workbench etc.

Re: Get rid of usbscanning in uboot?

Maybe it's something to do with the fast charging port that autmatically switches to data mode when you turn the computer on. Did the hub come with a driver disk? Anything that does usually means it's non-standard and won't work properly :(

Re: Get rid of usbscanning in uboot?

You can't afaik.

How long does it take?
What do you have plugged into it, maybe it's something that's connected that's causing the problem not the hub itself?

I have a couple of d-link devices (router and ethernet card) because they are cheap, maybe you just need a better hub or it's faulty?

Re: New X1000

You choose which one you want with the amigaboot.of screen where the kickstart is actually loaded, just stop the countdown and set your default option (I think, never set a different default) or just choose which one to boot from as needed.

Re: New X1000

@xenic Enter CFE (Press f in the boot menu) and enter the following: setenv -p keymap_swapaltamiga "on" type menu and hit return and you should boot up with the alt/amiga keys the right way round for you. you can also swap the keytops so it looks right too. You can use the NVGetVar command to check ...

Re: Wife friendly startup-sequence

Yes it could easily be moved to user-startup, I also thought of the dual wbstartup.prefs files but if the system is just to run owb then it's simpler just to turn off wbstartup.prefs. I suppose a dual wbstartup.prefs in user-startup would look something like this: delete envarc:sys/wbstartup.prefs f...
