Re: AmigaOS development on Linux (Help!)
Hm, I re-installed everything twice now and can only build C stuff, nothing AmigaOS specific. For example ReAction related. Did I miss something :? I guess you mean building on the laptop and then trying to run it on your AmigaOS3.x, or 4.x computer(s)? Your missing the Amiga specific header files ...

Re: Help needed setting up Cubic IDE to work with OS4.x SDK
I had to fix about 100 files that had their attributes messed up which prevented me from copying them to my System:Work/ drawer. Two possibilities come to mind: AIUI, unpacking things from Win or *nix will almost definitely screw up the file attributes Recently some have had troubles unpacking thin...

Re: NEW Debian/Linux Installation Guide version 2.1
AmigaDave, I do not have my system set up this way now, but in the early days I did have both Debian Squeeze and Wheezy installed on my AmigaOS 4 HDD. I think I used Media Toolbox to set up the AmigaOS partitions and then repartitioned the rest of the disk with Gparted under Linux. If I remember co...

OWB-MUI on X1000
Sorry if this question is not really appropriate for this forum, as it probably is not specific to the X1000, and AmigaKit's installation of the initial software included with every X1000, but this is where all the X1000 owners hang out, so I figured someone here could answer this simple question. E...

Re: Help needed setting up Cubic IDE to work with OS4.x SDK
spending almost 6 hours installing, uninstalling & re-installing the Cubic IDE and both versions of the OS4.x SDK, until I finally got it right. Poor you! Must say I never had so much trouble. Having the old SDK at hand, the installation of Cubic and the C/C++ add-on worked pretty much out of t...

Re: Is Radeon 8500 now supported by AOS4.1 Update 5?
@Karlos: Meanwhile I also got a Radeon 8500 with 128MB (Hercules 3D Propohet with active fan and heatsinks on mem chips). After a short try I got confirmed what already has been posted on the beta tester mailing list: Problems with Compositiing and 3D in terms of strange diagonal patterns! The same...

Re: Help needed setting up Cubic IDE to work with OS4.x SDK
I did not see your last post in this thread before spending almost 6 hours installing, uninstalling & re-installing the Cubic IDE and both versions of the OS4.x SDK, until I finally got it right. I am not sure if I could have kept track of what worked, and what didn't, but the things that you wr...

Re: Help needed setting up Cubic IDE to work with OS4.x SDK
Thanks to Bernd Gollesch, I now have the OS4.x SDK v51.22, so I am in the middle of trying to install it, then Cubic IDE, and finally the newest OS4.x SDK. It is still not smooth sailing to get them all installed, but I am still working on it and hope to figure out how to do it before the night is o...

Re: Help needed setting up Cubic IDE to work with OS4.x SDK
I have found the problem and solution on how to get Cubic IDE setup with OS4.x SDK, but I need the older version of the OS4.x SDK with the number 51.22, but it is not available for download any longer on the Hyperion website. Do any of you reading this forum have this old version of the SDK that you...
