Re: How many are using AmigaOne Keyboard & Mouse?
I did purchase the set with my X1000 but have been using my wireless mouse and keyboard. Just curious if any die-hards here are using the stock AmigaOne keyboard and mouse that AmigaKit sells with the X1000? I've been using an AmigaOne keyboard and mouse for quite a while now. I started using them ...

You obviously don't have the AmigaONE X1000 case then?Severin wrote:I also think the placement of the CF slot is a PITA, I have to remove the hard drive bays in my case to get access to it

Re: How to play DVD Movies on X1000
I have 2 DVD drives in my A1-X1000 and Just for fun while testing another Debian Squeeze installation I ran 2 commercial DVD's at the same time while browsing the web. Both DVD played, admittedly with some frame dropping, but I was still quite surprised it worked. Trevor ps both drives are the ones ...

Re: X1000 RAM & Debian Squeeze Linux questions
@amigasociety, You got your X1000 with 4gb, didn't you? Is it two 2gb simms, or is it four 1gb simms installed in your X1000? I think I will ask AmigaKit if I can exchange my two 1gb simms for another single 2gb simm, so I will have two matching 2gb simms in my X1000 and can add two more later, if ...

Re: Questions from a new X1000 owner and new OS4.x user
I looked for the OS4.1.5 install CD/DVD, but one was not included in my shipment. So I can't even do a clean re-install to start over. According to AmigaKit the CD's should be in soon, however I believe they included a copy of the AmigaOS4.1 Update 5 iso on the Workbench of "First Contact"...

Re: Questions from a new X1000 owner and new OS4.x user
@AmigaDave I can confrim that DVI works fine. I have my AmigaONE X1000 connected to a 24" BenQ wide screen monitor running ay 1920x1080x32 bit. As I mentioned earlier, AmigaKit would have used a generic monitor setting when they installed AmigaOS 4.1. If the automatic settings dosen't work with...

Re: Questions from a new X1000 owner and new OS4.x user
AmigaDave Sorry to hear about your Fedex problems. Unfortunately, it is not just related to Fedex (although to be honest my A1-X1000 arrived in NZ in pretty good shape). As a collector of all things "Amiga" I have received many damaged packages in the past. Some due to the poor packaging o...
