Of the two black usb ports, the bottom one (closest to the motherboard) should be used for the keyboard.
The second black usb port is used for usb booting...if you don't plan on usb booting, mouse can be plugged here.
but, The mouse can be plugged into any usb port.

I think if I under stand the question... just add the text in the field then TAB to the next field and so on...

Why didn't you just use the new connection tool in the internet drawer?
It walks you thru all that stuff...

May I ask...why such an old card?

I use two seperate monitors at different desks one a 1920x1080P and a 1920x1200.

My simple answer is that I have the prefs screenmode/monitor tab (detect setting automatically) checked.

So when I use my 1920x1200 it just "knows" it's there correctly.

My sound card is pci-e...
So, my setup is
pci-e soundcard
pci network card
pci sata card

Sorry, I don't know any pci-e sata cards.

BTW, My sound card from AmigaKit was very inexpensive.

On the safe side, SIL3512 is working fine. (tested and using it myself)

I missed that...so if the hard drive can be ruled out?

It's the graphic card...I don't know if the evergreen chip set is supported in the 7870 card!
