Re: 8 bit screenmodes not always working
I was really hoping I'd get a little more support from a Support Forum. In addition: What do you expect us to say if the problem is not present for anyone else ? Obviously, nobody else has the problem, and there's quite a number of Sam440 users out there. For all we know, it might be a hardware pro...

Re: SDK evolution
- gcc options -noixemul and -lauto- are no longer available . Is automatic opening of system libraries in the pipeline, or can this still be done ? As has been said, libauto.a is available. -noixemul was never available. It was in the OS3 compiler, but not the OS4 gcc. In the OS4 compiler, selectio...

Re: What I expect on Update3
However for executable with debug info having addr2line integrated into GrimReaper would be a great gain of time, but I suspect addr2line only works with programs generated by GCC build chain, doesn't it ? We have a half-finished draft for a new library to help debugging stuff (basically, a debugge...

Re: Better Altivec support
There's already a substantial amount of atlivec code in the system (for example, graphic/Picasso96). The Pegasos isn't the only platform with altivec, there's also the A1 (with G4) and x1000.

Re: UBoot update for AmigaOne
There are no plans for a U-Boot update, and no possibility to patch it over.
U-Boot isn't actually Hyperion's responsibility, it would be Eyetech, but they are no longer around.

Re: Radeon from elbox
I don't think the kernel will boot with two PCI gfx cards installed.... It would, but since the address space available to PCI is limited, two large cards such as a Voodoo (32 or 64 MB) and a Radeon (256 MB+) would already fill more than the 512 MB of address space available (due to alignment restr...

Re: AmigaOS4.1 ???
The only thing I can say is that Heretic 2 is currently not supported on OS4, and this is not likely to change.

Re: MiniGL problems on my Sam460ex...
It already has been announced (I think even back at AmiWest) that we are working on bringing Gallium3d to AmigaOS, This will support radeon HD cards among others.Nicsoft wrote:I do understand that MiniGL doesn't work (on my system) "now"... But I wan't a PCIe-card, not a PCI-card.

Re: AmigaOS4.1 ???
Heretic 2 is currently not supported on AmigaOS 4.1. It might run with the WarpUp emulation that is avaiable, but this is not officially supported.
