Re: CatWeasel MK2 anniversary support ?

UPDATE : I can confirm that the CW MK2 anniversary edition is working on AOS4.1 on my A1200PPC. The board is connected to the clockport of the Elbox ZorroIV and I am using the latest official 68k drivers from Individual computers. It works if you dont tick "enhanced error correction" in th...

Re: floppy disk usage guide ?

as I said if I dont insert a disk at boot, no disk icon appears and a diskchange DF0: gave a insert DF0: !

it works ONLY if a disk is inserted at boot and only in this case, the diskchange command is working... I guess I have to live with that !

Re: floppy disk usage guide ?

yes you re right, I have the original A1200 from Commodore so I did not apply the fix during installation (it was automatically chosen anyway AFAIR).

floppy disk usage guide ?

Hi All, I did not see this mentionned anywhere in the AOS4.1 package so is there a floppy usage guide for classic ? What I see is that the floppy drive is supported and the floppy disk I would insert shows up its icon on the WB and I can open it BUT - this works only if I insert the floppy disk and ...

Re: CatWeasel MK2 anniversary support ?

Thanks both for your replies.

I must be lucky then since under AOS3.9 the device still works !
I was trying to locate the MK2.library you mentionned but it does not exist either in Ian package and nor in Jens package...
is it on the card itself like a ROM ?

CatWeasel MK2 anniversary support ?

Hi All, As I mentionned in another thread, I have a Catweasel MK2 anniversary edition and was wondering if it is supported under AOS4.1. I would assume YES since X-1000 owners can put a CW MK2 in their monster. Mine was connected to the clockport of the XSurf3 but not recognized. I then connected it...

Re: AOS4.1 : pb install on CFCARD and 3D for permedia2

well I was carefull enough to put the red wire at position 1 for on both side (CW and clockport)

I can not test the FastATA 4000 because I have an A1200 and no FastATA (and no, I will not invest +100 euros in this when I have the SCSI right at the back of the BlizzardPPC !).

Re: AOS4.1 : pb install on CFCARD and 3D for permedia2

thx both for your replies. indeed I put SFS and FFS (from the CD) to the RDB but as said, partitionning seems fine, it is only the format step that generate a not a dos disk message for SFS. Any of you tried PFS3 ? maybe I could get some speed from it ? I am now back to real HD and as both of you wr...

Re: AOS4.1 : pb install on CFCARD and 3D for permedia2

Thanks for your reply, I feel like left alone and no one (even the devs at Hyperion) seems to care about the classic version of AmigaOS4.1 (sigh !). It is like "it is released, lets forget about it and let the users find the answer by themself. We got our 100 bucks. Thank you" ! Ok back on...

AOS4.1 : pb install on CFCARD and 3D for permedia2

Hi All, I am testing AOS4.1 on my A1200PPC and I believe that the performance of the onboard IDE is a limiting factor. Each time I launch something from AmiDock, there is a lag of 2-3 seconds before something happens and in general there is lack of responsiveness. Since my tower is already pretty fu...
