Re: Too small buffer on the scratchy X1000 boot sound.
When LoadWB runs it launches (in my case) 14 programs at the same time which all will load a set of libraries and stuff for the first time. Doing something like that could get any player with only 1 second disk buffer to stutter. I suggest increasing its buffer to 5 seconds. In the meantime I will d...

Re: Threaded libcurl crash
So that is why we never got this thing to work in MUI-OWB. Interesting. So the issue seems to happen when there are more than a few (more than one?) outstanding DNS requests. (Bad requests causing longer replies and thus increases the probability of a crash?) Since IBrowse seems to handle this fine ...

Reading CPU temp on the PA6T?
Is there any API or existing application for reading the (two, three?) core temps in the PA6T CPU?

Re: Too small buffer on the scratchy X1000 boot sound.
@ChrisH
Yes, that's the thread. Seems like LoadWB is so CPU heavy when opening the screen and lauching all WBStartup apps at once that it cause the SoundPlayer to stutter a bit (in my guess because of a relativey small AHI buffer).

Re: Alt and Amiga keys are swapped on USB kbd.
@MichaelMerkel I couldn't find any such environment variable. Are you saying that it defaults to swapped in the driver??! AmigaKit should make sure this variable is set correctly depending on if they deliver the X1000 with this keyboard or not. @nbache I have to check the language setting then. But ...

Too small buffer on the scratchy X1000 boot sound.
For some reason I can't reply or post in the X1000 forum. But in my (very recent) X1000 install the SoundPlayer was at the top of the startup-sequence, like one would expect so it plays while loading everything. (I read some had it at the top and some after LoadWB). However, it scratches a bit while...

Re: Alt and Amiga keys are swapped on USB kbd.
@MichaelMerkel Thanks! I'll try that. @nbache This is done by clearing the list of preferred languages in Locale prefs, then selecting as the first one a language with that charset (in your case I assume you'd want swedish_ISO-8859-15), then, if you like, other languages such as English or whatever....

Sound prefs tries to reset intuition
Is there really any reason to do this for sound prefs? IPrefs should have this as an exception.

Alt and Amiga keys are swapped on USB kbd.
I have never used a USB keyboard before, but now on the X1000 I have to of course. Problem I have (on both of my two totally different USB keyboards) is that the Amiga(Win) key and Alt keys are swapped on both sides so that LAlt becomes LAmiga and LWin becomes LAlt. And the same thing on the right s...

Re: AmIRC stopped working with update 5 - MUI problem?
Ok, have just started using my pre-installed X1000 with default MUI config and AmIRC is still not working :-( I have pretty much only copied in the few extra MUI libs that AmIRC needs to even start and it is not working. All versions (old 68k, newest 68k, kind of old OS4 PPC beta) show the same beha...
