Re: (Auto)Switch-off monitor bug (ScreenBlanker)
Without swapping I have run out of memory several times without problems (as long as the programs handle it as they should, which most Amiga programs do). With swapping it locks up pretty quickly. Probably nothing to do with anything but, I wonder if the size of SWAP has any effect. Too big, too sm...

Er.....Just some info here.
I use FAT12 or 16 for all my USB mem keys. Had some problems with 32 but don't recall
exactly what they were. I also do the format using Linux, Gparted or Fdisk.

Re: Feature request: Reboot functionality
A shutdown command would first need hardware that supports it.
As for Reboot. At least on my Sam, Ctrl+LAmiga+RAmiga resets AmigaOS,
and Ctrl+Alt+Alt resets the computer.

Re: AsyncWB no longer asynchronous
The real problem with directories like TBImages, with 3000+ files, is that they are almost unmanageable via WB. Opening TBImages with view-by-name does usually complete, but takes 20 to 30 seconds to show anything, during which WB is unusable. Tom[/quote] I agree. I noticed that besides the Wait_Poi...

Success ! Well,, was able to reproduce your results by creating a drawer on the USB stick thenxenic wrote:tonyw wrote:@xenic:
Since mechanic was unable to reproduce the problem, I did some more testing myself.

Where's the participation here? OK! OK! Geewhiz, can't even take a leak without someone jumping on ya. I just copied 171+MB of stuff from my Work partition to a 512MB FAT USB stick using drag & drop both with the USB stick window open and closed. No problem using workbench during the cop...

Re: Problems with a cold reboot
That is strange.DavidMiga wrote: When I was in Update2 I could use my mouse usb wireless. Under Update3 I have no horizontal movement.
Are you using only mouse wireless?
Or, mouse & keyboard wireless?
I use a wireless mouse + keyboard by 'Digital Innovations' and have
no problems with USB on Sam440ep.

Re: USB copy and WB progress bar
What do you mean by thay? And what were you doing in this log? I see no update to this issue so it looks like the progres bar hasn't moved. ;-) I edited the log to remove some non essential info and added some '****' notes as to what is going on as devices are inserted and removed from USB. I asked...

Just something to try, you can always put it back.
Using Media Toolbox unmark the SWAP for automount. Reboot.
