Re: Kernel 3.10
A new bug fix release is available: kernel-3.10.15-1-x1000-ubuntu-ppc64.tar.bz2 Screenshot: http://www.supertuxkart-amiga.de/amiga/ubuntu-live-dvd-x1000-thumbnail.jpg I have received Ubuntu LTS 12.04 with my X1000 and it seems it doesn`t have this kernel inserted. How to insert it in already instal...

Re: Quake II crash - can't complete section
Does anyone else get a (recoverable) DSI error (at address 0x7f73f848) when ending the "Big Gun" section? Although I can re-start Quake, it won't let me get past this stage*, which I presume is related to the error. If anyone has any advice on this, it would be appreciated. Steve * = even...

Re: Modern WiFi Support
Yes, but its very sad there is no visual indication of Wi Fi signal or being connected to the net overall within the OS.djrikki wrote:I assume that device needs no special drivers as it takes care of everything.
That must not be hard to do and is about time.

ex Yugoslav locale for AmigaOS
Its great to see Serbian locale and keyboard are translated, would love to help maybe better translation of some terms and translating other software. Since ATO Serbia is long gone, are there any instructions how-to for dummies? P.S. Since Serbian, Bosnia and Croatian are similar to dialects level, ...

There are few of such, as OS 4.1 came from OS 3.1 sources, sadly.
But not way too many

Re: Modern WiFi Support
Hello, The subject title says it all really! Not a lot more to say really - AmigaOS needs WiFi support sooner rather than that later. It exists as PRISM2 driver http://amigakit.leamancomputing.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=158 (More on this when i get my X1000 with it) and more recent At...

Re: Recovery tool for JXFS
We alerady have Media Toolbox for dealing with native partitioning... the only capabilities for "simpler" and "easier" don't really happen from how that works without nerfing the existing design somewhat in my opinion. I would like to see some non-destructive capabilities mysef,...

Recovery tool for JXFS
ON popular demand, Recovery tool for JXFS
Its stated there will be a replacement file system when developers time allow it,
but simply some basic repair/recovery would be good meanwhile.
Or port PFS3
In the future - better and simpler file recovery, hard partitioning etc. tools.

Re: Mobile Phone USB connection in AmigaOS4?
I have a work-issued Nokia Lumia 800 and it won't connect to the Amiga, requiring M$ propriety Zune software to access anything stored. Probably the same story for the 520. My own phone, an LG Arena, connects fine and appears as a mass-storage device. I believe the iPhone similarly requires proprei...
