DDC not working (screen blanking)

Hello and thank you very much for update 3! However the issue that I got with screen blanking are still the same. Luckily I had saved the old monitor file that makes everything fine most of the time. The only time it blanks now is when I run Swamp Defense (lots of things happening on the screen all ...

Re: Solo ES1938S sound card in A4000 mediator

Just wondering, does Paula still work in 14-bit up to 48kHz on an AGA machine? Yes the sound is pretty good and close to 16-bit IMO.

Re: Transfering big files over network

I tend to stay away from these kind of dockies as some cause me problems. Only one I have installed is RNetmon . That is too bad because a dockie like that, if working properly, could be usefull. It could tell me when it's time to clean the CPU and what CPU load I get from different programs. What ...

Re: Transfering big files over network

I'm using a D-link DIR-655 router and are connected with cables. I bought a ... can of air(?) yesterday and I used it today to clean the CPU cooler. For some reason the dockie "CPUTemp" shows that the temperature has raised! Not that I know if I should trust it or not but... I did transfer...

Re: Transfering big files over network

ok. Was this with update 2 or a later beta of AOS? Did you save the file to a JXFS formated partition? And what server did you use on the mac so that I can try that and see if it makes a difference.

Also, are you using an A1 or a SAM?

Transfering big files over network

Today and yesterday I tried to transfer files of size 1-4GB and experienced several lockups of my amigaone. In particular one file at 4GB failed the 2-3 times I tried when it reached 3GB. I neede to reset using the button on the tower (PS/2 keyboard not responsive). I transfered the files from a Win...

Re: copying files makes CPU busy

it could be depends also from copy buffer. IIRC on update 3 the buffer of copy command should be fixed. But other programs (like DOpus for example) could use their functions to copy files. In the end. If your DMA settings are ok, the problem should be in the command/prgram are you using. Thank you ...

Re: copying files makes CPU busy

@afxgroup Short answer would be yes. Long answer: I checked when I wrote about it at amigaworld.net and I've checked several times after that using idetool and they are all set to the best possible setting using DMA. On the SII0680 controller I got two harddrives on one cable and two burners on the ...
