GFX card screenmodes in EUAE-amigfx - how?

HI altogether, does anybody know how other screenmodes besides PAL ones can be achieved within EUAE-amigfx? I'm using an AOS3 installation with Picasso96 but only with a uaegfx monitor which makes host screenmodes (i.e. AOS4 ones) available within EUAE when using the SDL version of EUAE. Now I'm won...

Re: Is Radeon 8500 now supported by AOS4.1 Update 5?

@ChrisH: Thanks. I'm currently using a Radeon 9200pro recognized as 9250 AGP card in my Peg2. But since the R200 is described as supported including 3D I still wonder whether somebody definitely know whether the 8500 is supported including 3D or not. The 8500 is below the 9250 to be formal (see here...

Re: Is Radeon 8500 now supported by AOS4.1 Update 5?

Sorry, I didn't talk about the driver developed by Hans. I'm referring to this one here: "Updated Radeon, R200 and Permedia2 Warp3D drivers." (see http://blog.hyperion-entertainment.biz/ ) So is Radeon 8500 currently fully supported including Warp3D or not? If not will it be fully supported in futur...

Is Radeon 8500 now supported by AOS4.1 Update 5?

Hi everybody, may be I did miss something. But since Update 5 mentions support of the R200 chip I wonder whether Radeon 8500 now is fully supported by AOS4.1? Is this the case or is it still not (fully) supported? (I'm asking since I'm still looking for improvement possibilities of my Peg2. And henc...

Re: How to use PCI SATA controller?

It's not only C and the libraries but also all additional stuff which is installed within SYS: like browsers (and for me AmiUpdate too). Maybe it's worth to move these ones onto SSD-partitions? What do you think (foremost regarding browsers and their caches). As an update I've got installed the SATA...

Re: How to use PCI SATA controller?

Thanks for the hints. Yes, you got me right. A pitty to hear that there seems to be no way (would be great to be able to define where to boot from after kickstart has been loaded). But since there is currently everything installed at the SATA SSD the usage of all programs from that one would be auto...

How to use PCI SATA controller?

Hi everybody, maybe someone of you set this already up, so here is my question: How would an AOS4 installation have to be set up so that it can benefit from an PCI SATA controller as good as possible? Since the Peg2 cannot boot from drives connected to these controllers initial loading of kickstart ...

GDB ignoring break points past the first one

Hi everybody, is it just me or does this not work at all? Here on Peg2 I set two break points in one file. The first one at main, the second at line 364. GDB stops at the first break point as expected. But after pressing c for continue the program runs without any further breaks until termination. T...

Re: HD crashed or is there still some hope?

Not really obvious since there have been no trouble so far. So I just recently assigned the "clock" noisde to the HD and it has been confirmed after opening the case. To make sure I lowlevel formatted the device including RDB, deleted and created the partition again and formatted it normally (not fa...
