SDK and SDL installation broken?

Hi everybody and a very happy new year! Currently I'm struggling with my SDK and SDL installations while trying to port some source (from Gigalomania). First thing: Inside makefile there is following embedded command when calling g++: `sdl-config --libs`. When trying to run make from Amiga Shell (or...

Re: How to use PCI SATA controller?

Hm, strange enough: After making my IDE BOOT: partition (the one which hold of file and kickstart dir) nonbootable again its now recognized as default kicklayout when AOS4 bootloader starts. So now sequence of kickstarts/kicklayouts listed is now vice versa hence now it is working completely as it s...

Re: How to use PCI SATA controller?

Does the BootDevice Kickstart module not work on a Peg? Don't know. Could try to set it to an IDE partition and reactivate it. Or did you forget to RTFM? No. As stated above: I did exactly what is mentioned inside bootmenu.doc according to the part you posted! But when kickstart is loaded from IDE ...

Re: How to use PCI SATA controller?

After some new input from some other thread inside AmigaWorld (see here: os4-beta@hyperion-entertainment.biz ) I made some additional attempts. Now I've got AOS4 booting from SATA SSD after kickstart had been loaded from IDE partition (I copied my kickstart dir onto my BOOT partition where also of f...

How does bootloader determine default kicklayout config?

Hi everybody, unfortunately I cannot find appropriate information regarding this topic anymore. Already looked for it inside this forum as well as inside other fora and my emails. Maybe somebody here can give me a short hint or link regarding this question? Setup is: One partition (non-bootable) inc...

Re: Is Radeon 8500 now supported by AOS4.1 Update 5?

I just wish I could find an adapter which would fit into a PCIe slot on the Nemo2.1 motherboard, and convert the PCIe slot into an AGP slot, so I could use an AGP Radeon 9000Pro as a second video card in my X1000 for dual monitor setup and playing 3D games. Maybe no company has ever made a PCIe to ...

Re: Is Radeon 8500 now supported by AOS4.1 Update 5?

@Karlos: Meanwhile I also got a Radeon 8500 with 128MB (Hercules 3D Propohet with active fan and heatsinks on mem chips). After a short try I got confirmed what already has been posted on the beta tester mailing list: Problems with Compositiing and 3D in terms of strange diagonal patterns! The same ...

Re: GFX card screenmodes in EUAE-amigfx - how?

Maybe the appropriate part of EUAE SDL version with uaegfx could be ported to the amigfx version?
BTW: Would creating a Picasso96 monitor file inside devs/monitors within the AOS3 installation help out here today?
