Re: SSD with AOS4.1
Finnaly I changed my old 80GB SATA disk with a Kingston V+200 120GB SSD, so lets see how AOS works with such drive (think it has some kind of TRIM/garbage_cleaner built-in support).

Hi just "fixed" my SAM460 sound problem with this trick http://amigaworld.net/modules/news/arti ... 6694#89419 and worked great, now sound is clear, no hiss on background.

Re: uboot reporting drive read errors on brand new drive
Can you try with another SODIMM (ram module)?
IIRC I had some kind of uboot crash too with my SATA hdd, then I changed from 1GB SODIMM to 2GB ram module and haven't see such uboot_crashes again.

SSD with AOS4.1
Do I have to take some "special" care to use a SSD on my SAM460ex with AOS4(+Linux)?
Or doesn't matter the 4K blocks on SSD or am I confusing things I've heard about SSD (much faster, but less life,..)?
The one I have here to test is: Kingston SSDnow 200 V+
TIA

@zappa
Yep, already rtied AmiCygnix, but with my HP Scanjet5300c USB it just start scanning, but aborts/stops (maybe some timeout issue). With ScanQuix I get a crash/GR
, can't remember how I configure it with my other/old Scanjet 4p SCSI. ¿:-P

BTW trying to use ScanQuix5 (worked great with my A1-XE) with SAM460 (via USB HP scanjet) and everytime I try to define a new scanner it just crashes/GR. Has anyon...
