Re: Picasso96 Warp3D update bug

This is showing on my Sam440ep http://home.lyse.net/arildaarbakk/snapshots/lambo.png The white rectangles at the top, I take it? And you say this problem is only in the presence of the latest W3D_Picasso96.library? That should at least give me a starting point. There were some texture allocation ch...

Re: 16 bits ZBuffer + native aniso?

Anisotropic filtering should work OK and is exposed as a W3D state flag*. *This means that for now, you can turn it on or off under software control, but the degree of anisotropy is controlled by the environment variables. I don't believe there's any way to control that through the API. Okay for ma...

Re: Picasso96 Warp3D update bug

Here is a short minigl program that reproduces the fault. http://home.lyse.net/arildaarbakk/programs/glitch.lha just go into minigl directory and type make for compiling. Hi, I've tested this on my A1 XE which is using (I believe) the same 256MiB (only 128MiB available) 128-bit R200. When I run the...

Re: Picasso96 Warp3D update bug

I'll try to take a look today. Unfortunate that this never appeared in testing :-/

Re: 16 bits ZBuffer + native aniso?

Just to be clear, support for 16-bit Z buffers are a end-user option for now, not a developer feature. There is no way (yet) select which buffer format to use from your application. The reason for this is that the work on Warp3D has been focused on improving what already exists and not about adding ...

Re: Is Radeon 8500 now supported by AOS4.1 Update 5?

There's no official support for the 8500 presently. Does that mean that it is not "Officially" supported, but it might work, or does that mean that the Radeon 8500 is not supported at all and the display will be distorted, scrambled, or have no display at all? It means there's no official...

Re: AmigaOS4.1 ???

Could anyone explain me how can this and all the others Hyperion's game run under MOS? Is there some kind of wrapper? Yes. The wrapper (presumably) provides all the functions provided by powerpc.library, handles the WarpOS argument-passing conventions (which is slightly different to the common powe...

Re: AmigaOS4.1 ???

Whilst not supported, I can confirm that at least the demo version runs on my classic 4.1 installation (was installed under OS3.x). However, it does DSI on exit.
