To be honest, I've found the best way to optimize 4.1 for my classic is to remember that - other than the CPU - it's the same hardware I have in 3.x and to respect it's limitations. So, I stick to the same 16-bit display mode on my BVision and turn down the eye candy.

Assuming everything else is configured correctly*, it might be down to bus speed. I would not be in the least surprised to learn that the CVisionPPC connected directly to the CSPPC has a much faster CPU to VRAM write performance than anything going via the Mediator. A few more questions. Can you tell us exactly which versions of these games you have? What colour format is your Workbench screen (Check the screenmode prefs 16 bit, 24 bit, 32 bit etc., RGBA, ARGB so on). Is your Workbench composited or not? Are you able to run those games full screen on their own ...

All what i notice during testing, is that beetwen warp3d from update3 and that 53.10 version , i have speed increasing in LodePaint on 1fps, and in QuakeArena on 2 fps on my peg2/radeon9250. No awareness of how to "see" the results of those debugging calls... and I currently operate only a single machine... nothing connected to any form of "serial link" and that is the total sum of knowledge about the Exec DebugPrintF() results that I know...so there has never been ...

I suspect it's nothing to do with W3D_Picasso96.library if you are using Cow3D on your RadeonHD via Wazp3D.

In most cases with all that games problem is warpos emulation, not warp3d. Karlos there can do nothing with only warp3d improvements. That's definitely true for WipeOut at least. I was able to play it without any issue for hours with both R100 and R200 cards in my A1 and the Permedia2 in my A1200. ...
