Re: Kernel 53.22 problem with SamFlex
@DAX Well I've been operating with Kernal 53.12 long enough to be convinced that the freezes are related to the kernal. However, my erratic mouse problem is also an erratic keybaord problem. When I was writing a post in another forum my keyboard input got very slow and erratic. Once that happened, t...

Re: USB keyboard & mouse freezing frequently since Update 3
@ChrisH I'm using a SAM Flex 800Mhz and the hub issue prevented me from using my Amiga after installing Update3. I keep my system partition write protected (lock command) from my user-startup. When the Update3 installer rebooted my system, Rhingio tried to write new prefs to my SYS: partition and wh...

Re: Kernel 53.22 problem with SamFlex
@DAX I've always been suspicious about the switch to 733Mhz for the Flex but of course ACube would never admit that there was any problem with the 800Mhz version. I'm in my second day with kernal 53.12 and still no freezes. I'm going to run my system this way for several days and then switch back to...

Re: Kernel 53.22 problem with SamFlex
@Xenic Interesting... Well. The system has been up for 14 hours straight without a freeze. RAOWB brought up a Grim Reaper with a DSI which allowed me to "Continue" without a reboot but that's probably an OWB issue. If this stability continues, I'm going to begin wondering if someone compi...

Re: weird problem with upd3 - dos.library?
@MichaelMerkel
I tested warm rebooting with both versions on AmigaDOS and the time with both was 12 seconds. I have about 15 programs & scripts in WBStartup (including Dopus4 opening behind WorkBench). I didn't see much difference, if any.

Re: Kernel 53.22 problem with SamFlex
Can you try this again without ever starting Dopus. Just use the Workbench and drag the files into the ramdisk window. Just an experiment. O.K. but results are strange. I tried it again with Dopus4 by copying 2 565MB files to ram. The first attempt ended with an error requester from AmigaDOS report...

Re: Update3 Screens not working.
My Update2 Screens are working with Update3. I backed up my Update2 system and installed Update3 over it.

Re: Kernel 53.22 problem with SamFlex
Virtual memory never worked on my Sam Flex, Now with the update 3 i just tryed the same experiment: copy a video file of 940 MB of size (I have 1 GB RAM phisically installed) but the progression bar will stopped at some point (98% in this case) and if i click with the mouse somewhere i get an insta...

Re: Kernel 53.22 problem with SamFlex
@DAX Since installing Update3 I get at least one freeze per day. At first, I started logging them to see if I could establish a pattern but stopped while I was trying to get MUI-OWB working without a crash. Since I can't get a stack trace from the Grim Reaper that opens when MUI-OWB crashes, I've pu...

Re: double Libs: assigns -> DSI crash in OS4.1u3, Sam440ep-f
It still crashes, even if the "..3rd-Party.." drawer is empty :? If you look at the Warp3D.library in a Hex reader you will see that it might be looking for modules in "libs:Warp3D/GFXdrivers/#?" which it won't find if your 3rd-party-libs is assigned ahead of the system Libs dir...
