Re: Support for XTREME X-94395 (PSX to USB adaptor)
I'll explain as best I can.. hopefully it will all make sense. Today is not a good day for me to try and explain things. The USB stack is the foundation for all things that connect by USB. But the stack alone is not everything. it still needs drivers. The USB organization could see that needing a &q...

Re: Dummy audio Ahi
I am confused.
It works by manipulating the registers of the sound card directly.
Mixer is not part of the OS, and it has nothing to do with AHI either.if you dont have a mixer up many programs crash

Re: My system built to be terminated...
It was however discovered recently that I was delivered an Amiga built to be terminated. An unfinished Amiga with very limited stuffs and buggy system created to terminate itself. One of them probably Chris Handley whom created Amisystemrestore for reasons I don't remember. I was to be hacked these...

Re: Radeonhd audio
This is one of the projects in front of me. There are a few. Due to personal issues I have had very little time for Amiga development. That is changing now, and I am beginning to write again. Sometimes we just have to wait for what we are able to do to catch up with what we want to do. Thanks for yo...

Re: SSD hard disks and AmigaOS
That's a lot of stuff I missed completely. I added an SSD, and set it up just like any other HD. Perhaps a dozen partitions, and about 40% left unused. Either I've been very lucky, or it's not going as fast as it could and I have not noticed. In any case, I think I'll leave it be until better option...

Re: OCHI Controller Task Unit constantly Guruing
Hmm, removing my external powered hub seems to have solved the problem. I was beginning to feel stupid for suggesting that you unplug everything. I will STILL feel stupid, but I'll have to find something else to blame it on. Even on my X1000, some hubs work great, some are unusable. Luckily they ar...

Re: OCHI Controller Task Unit constantly Guruing
I hope you'll forgive if I ask the obvious questions..
Have you tried with all USB devices removed?
Do you have a USB card reader? Can you unplug it as well?
How about with JUST the keyboard and mouse connected (assuming USB)

Re: New Prototyping Board for Xorro
... I would like to see a all holes PCI x8 board (that will fit into the X1000 case) that does not cover the x1 slot at all. The overflow of Xena pins could be routed up the rear edge of the board and extend 2-3 holes horizontal. To fit X1000 case the board can be taller. This would leave the x1 sl...

Re: New Prototyping Board for Xorro
Yes!
On some days just being able to describe something counts as successful.
I think some of the Xena pins are repeated, so max length was probably just an unfortunate error.
It's a very high quality board, quite well made.

Re: New Prototyping Board for Xorro
The difference may be an American vs European, but this is a strip board with essentially all strips already in use. Every strip is pre connected to a pin of Xena. Over here that is quite unexpected. Perhaps if the Xena pins were connected to 2 or 3 pins, then an empty strip was left free for whatev...
