Re: How to set serial speed and other CFE settings?

I have been told, but I have not yet tested,
That if an app opens the serial port and sets the baud rate,
debug will continue to flow, using the new serial settings.

Once the Debug logger is running this will be on
my list of things to try.

If you try it, let us know what you find!

Re: Xena + AmigaOS

I have been quite busy lately with family matters. On the bright side, my second grandson should arrive in February. :D I have just begun to document the Xena development process. You'll find more information at http://wiki.amigaos.net/index.php/Writing_apps_for_Xena You can find all the code used f...

So, can we call this proof that AmigaOS4 is "cooler" than Linux?

Re: Scratchy boot sound on X1000

I have not had any sound issues with my X-1000. I am using a Rosewill RC-701 card, purchased from NewEgg. This card uses a CMI8738 chip, and has been working fine for me. I use an audio mixer so that ALL my sound sources can be live at once, I would definitely have noticed if My X had a scratchy sta...

Re: What USB devices are available.

Like most computer accessories, USB devices require drivers to make them work. Some devices are "class compliant", meaning that they follow a defined standard for compatibility reasons. Those that are not "class compliant" have to have drivers written specifically for them. Some ...

Re: Help needed setting up Cubic IDE to work with OS4.x SDK

I am not a complete idiot when it comes to using computers I never meant to imply anything regarding your abilities. When answering questions in a public forum it's best to cover all the bases, starting from the most basic ones. I have personally had very little experience with other file systems. ...

Re: OWB-MUI on X1000

I use the non-MUI version of OWB, and it never scanned fonts on entry until last week when I started copying some fonts around. It now recognizes that things have changed, and mine scans at every opening as well.

I'll be watching this for more information. :)

Re: Help needed setting up Cubic IDE to work with OS4.x SDK

I had to fix about 100 files that had their attributes messed up which prevented me from copying them to my System:Work/ drawer. Two possibilities come to mind: AIUI, unpacking things from Win or *nix will almost definitely screw up the file attributes Recently some have had troubles unpacking thin...
