Not an issue perse, but a little nuisance in Screenmode Prefs
Every headline (the ones in red) are written Capital and then non capital letter
e.g. Screen modes (take a look at the Workbench prefs too)

But on the Monitors tab
"Refresh Rates"
has two Capital letters

@nbache Well, it's a long time, but i try to be brief Screenmode prefs "incorrectly" reports it as 57Hz and all the 60Hz modes as 61Hz so i see a bug in the prefs program. Try to manually change your setting to 55 Hz, reboot, see if that works and move up to the closet setting that works f...

You have been bitten by an infamous screenmode prefs bug, where it saves an incorrect Hz to the monitor file and f*** up booting.

iirc i had to create two accounts for the main site and the forums.

Makes sense too, as the main site login details are used for registerting software and receiving updates.
You can still use the same details and only remember one then

Checking the obvious here...is your copy of os4 registered at hyperion?
Iirc it checks that first before providing any updates, i might be wrong though
