Instead of rebooting, did you try to unplug and then plug again the mouse and the keyboard to see if it makes any differences or if USB subsystem displays an error message of some kind?

That's very strange,

the only change I made to the keymap was the rawkey code of "ù" key from "2B" to "0D"...
