Re: What I expect on Update3

@Hans Furthermore, we're working on a new version of GDB which we hope to deploy with the Update 3 SDK, but that's just an intention right now, and might not happen. That is awesome news. I am right now writing some small article about debugging for os4coding.net, and while i works on it, i thinking...

Re: AmigaOS Suggestions in particular, AmiDock, Push4Dock +

And just to add about prefs reorganisation: Imho prefs:gui should be integrated together with prefs:workbench, as well, as some of the other prefs too, to have just one "prefs:workbench" preference, in whcih everything workbench-settings related will be placed via tabs.

Re: GCC 4.2.4 optimization bug

@samo79 "Pause" its too "hi-level" in that case. All depends how code done which handle that "pause" code, and what code do before and after, and how it all handled and so on. Some small piece of only necessary code which cleary show the problem from low-level code-side...

Re: GCC 4.2.4 optimization bug

@samo79 Just to add some stuff which can helps: No one will try to compile Koules and trying to understand what Kolues code do , to reproduce that error (its uninteresting and time consuming job). So, you (or that one who catch the bug) , should create small as possible example, with small as possib...

Re: Horrendously large file cannot be deleted

Again, nothing to do with code, I was using Workbench. I mean that our os are not so protected, and you can do some experiments with code, and then (when OS already have problems in some area after "code experiments"), you will have any kind of problems (and with WB, and with shell comman...

Re: Horrendously large file cannot be deleted

Workbench showed it as a Project file, Shell showed it as a directory. I ran Delzero <filename>, unable to open file (because shell saw it as a directory) - so I thought what the hell lets type delzero <filename>.info - file size updated. As a result of this Delzero somehow converted what Workbench...

Re: MiniGL problems on my Sam460ex...

@samo79 I hope that even if Rogue will not do that, then maybe Hanz will do that, or Karlos. I remember when i talk with Hanz half of year ago, he say that "yes, initial plans to have warp3d/minigl wrappers". In the worse case we can annoy Alain to fix wazp3d and add gallium3d support. But...

Re: Horrendously large file cannot be deleted

@djrikky For sure you know that without normal-reproducable bug report and explaining of situation how beta-tester/developers can reproduce it : its just nothing and will be not fixed ? Its all can happens because of milion reassons (one of which, is when you do some code, you can bork the system in...

@nicsoft "Amiga Explorer not use amigaos4's crossdos." No, of course not! But it works well, transferring files... Bug reports here for fixing bug of the actual situation (to make os4 better and bug free). I mean all of this reported not becuase we can't transfer files by anything else, bu...

Re: Radeon from elbox

@tommysammy Elbox and Amikit its just companys which sold standard radeons, without any "amiga-changes". As aos4 have support of radeon9000/9250, then any radeon9000/9250 will works, and does not matter where you will buy it. Amikit and Elbox there not play any major role, they just give y...
