Re: SFS vs NGFS "PROGDIR:/" question

@colinw Yep will check last snoopy. What i think about now that if 1:1 the same binary give no micropauses from ram: or from ngfs: (and there on beta both ram: and ngfs: are "new filesystems"), but give them on sfs2, then maybe there some emulation involved to make old filesystems works, a...

Re: SFS vs NGFS "PROGDIR:/" question

@tony
Yeah, with ngfs all fine.
Its with sfs2 i have some micropauses in game, which i think can be related to blocksize or buffers of sfs partition, so question is i need to change values i have by default for sfs2.

Re: SFS vs NGFS "PROGDIR:/" question

@all There is another interesting issue i notice. I can't desribe it well in details, but : i have a game, which, when i run on NGFS, runs fine, responsive, and co. But when, i just copied the same archive 1:1 on sfs2 partition, and run it from there, i have some weird little "pauses" when...

SFS vs NGFS "PROGDIR:/" question

Found lately, that with NFGS or RAM: i can open file via: PROGDIR:/test.txt While with SFS 1.293 can't. Question is: is it bug in SFS, or its bug in code and it's just feature of NGFS/RAM and all new filesystems in compare with old ones ? What i mean is that slash thing after PROGDIR: and before fil...

Re: BUG: notepad's non-working "save" after few redo/undo.

@Amigo1
Will be interesting to test with different pause between pressing on buttons, like trying to wait for some time between, or doing all very fast instead: to see, if there is pattern.. At least that onlythe thing about which i can think as it semy random, and never crashes/freezes.

Re: BUG: notepad's non-working "save" after few redo/undo.

Yes, exactly. So its the same for 53.16 and 53.17.. And as it happens sometime after few repeats, but sometime after 20-30, it mean it can be about timing (like pause between pressing on buttons).

Re: BUG: notepad's non-working "save" after few redo/undo.

@Raziel
Try to repeat steps 6 and 7 in a loop for 10, 20 , 30 times. With different pause between pressing. Sometime its enough 2-3 repeat, sometime it can works for 20, and only then.

BUG: notepad's non-working "save" after few redo/undo.

Just to start with, i do test with latest beta of notepad 53.17 , but want to bring that report there , so users with latest public version of notepad can confirm if there is such behaviour or not. So, steps to reproduce: 1). reboot 2). run shell, go to RAM: , type "notepad aa.txt" 3). wri...
