Re: Testers wanted - USB3 XHCI USBHCD

You guys are better off to work with Belxjander. Just read all his posts on amigaworld.net and on os4coding.net. He does nothing in the end, while in the last 10 years has a lot of Napoleon's plans. Everything he does it's just initial simple things, which never reached a real usable state. He promi...

Re: Any hope for a Wayfarer browser port for OS 4?

Modern WebKit core on wich Wayfarer based needs fixes in our GCC (so in adtools repo). And the only person of late updating it was Sebastian (SBA), who didn't update it for half of the year now. Also, it may need new changes in the kernel too, which need fast fixes and fast work, which also in curre...

Re: Is it possible to use libpng et al. in a clib2 project?

As far as i aware: clib2 didnt support sobjes. At least, when we discuss bugs in adtools, it was said to better use clib2 , if we dont need sobjes (which in turn mean no sobjes for clib2 then)

@Jaokim
Will be intersting to know, if Salas00's implementation of Cairo already use compositing and stuff, and , some default test-cases which run the same thing over software cairo rendering, and over new salas00's library. If it will be much faster, then than can be something interesting indeed

Re: Warp3d and AHI problem on Pegasos 2?

Sorry, but you out of luck there. Its very well known issue on pegasos2 / amigaos4. It was reported many-many times by different users including myself. It happens since very first release of amigaos for pegasos. Bugreport is created in amigaos bugzilla, and few developers trying to find and fix the...

Re: X5000

@hlt Sorry for off-topic, however is there any chance that we will see Odyssey 1.25 with JIT on AmigaOS? I can see it is available on MOS... Nope, sources of 1.25 not available, as well as JIT version developed by another person, and sources of this version also not available. @TonyW That sounds as ...

Re: X5000

What i notice myself, is that when i install Odyssey on public NGFS (that one which come with x5000), then i never-ever have favicons for the sites in the tabs after i exit/run odyssey again. I can't test it on the latest NGFS at moment, but with public one there is for sure issue of this kind.

Re: newlib's realloc() is using vast quantities of RAM

Just for record and future reference if it ever will be deal with: I meet with the same issue when trying to port some game. Game has some function which decode OGG files to the memory, with usage of realloc() , all done over c++ and compiled with gcc 8.2.0 and -O3 optimisation, over latest beta of ...
