I'm using a 64Go SSD with my 440ep, no problem to repport so far.

There is a speed increase but don't expect 500mo/s as it's for SATA 3 transfert. The Sam440ep is SATA 1, slower architecture, etc. You will be lucky If you get more than 100mo/s.

Classic comes with Update 2.
I also have a idefix, I guess that as soon as it's plugged in the primary port it should be OK.

Is it a 256mo ram equiped Radeon?
Could you confirm that it's a clean install? (so just the CD then update 2, nothing else)

Is the CF Card the only ide drive attached to your 1200 or is your old drive still connected?

It was not planned to release the new con-handler with update 3. Maybe the new con-handler is not fully finished and need to be deeply tested... More over USB2 seems to be more urgent than a new con-handler to basic end user. Zero Hero, I don't think the next major update will only contain an update...

Did you try with another USB keyboard?
I try with an apple pro and a Z Merc keyboard and I don't have any problem in reseting the Amiga OS on the µA1.
