TextEditor & StringGadget Cursor colour Tags?
Recently while playing with Workbench themes it appears to be seriously difficult to find colour combinations that let the cursor in text fields really pop out, namely in Notepad and other applications using the normal Gadget toolkit (Reaction). I wonder how those colours are being set from the deve...

Re: Any hope for a Wayfarer browser port for OS 4?
A bounty would fail. Nobody is ever gonna pay for a new browser again on Amiga in advance. As for the port: It seems to be quite hard to do it otherwise it would have been done already. I think the Amiga environment is not porting friendly. Therefore it will require some serious craftsmen to do it a...

Re: Any hope for a Wayfarer browser port for OS 4?
As the Wayfarer code is in ObjectiveC, wouldn't this be a big show stopper for a port?

Re: Tabbar on bottom?
Sorry for being back late. Of course it makes no sense to layout the tabs in the same way as if they were on top of the page group panel. Just take a look at every spreadsheet application in the world: the tabs for every table are at the bottom, not top. the organizer example is a good one: you woul...

changes please
two (three) requests, if i may. the avatar settings are quite restrictive, if not hostile, regarding aspect ratio and size. please change. the 'online' banner seems to take a significant amount of screen estate, please move that e.g. onto the avatar picture. There is a '^' button in the bottom of ea...

Tabbar on bottom?
Is there a way to make a (future) tab bar appear on the bottom of the page, or even left or right (90 degrees rotated) by choice of tags, rather than reimplementing own new classes to achive this?
Or, is there a render method of bespoken class to make it appear at 90 degrees rotation for instance?

Re: Pivot monitor support on driver level?
Yes, i might have been unclear with my pronunciation. A change in resolution will need a screen to close and re-opened; and in this case, the reason to do this is also to swap x and y axis. And there is a mechanism to notify any open apps on that screen, iirc, called screennotify? So what is needed ...

Re: Pivot monitor support on driver level?
Thanks, guys. Now, here's more stuff. When a screen is closed, caused by a resolution change (which is in fact the swap of w and h), it would certainly trigger a screennotify msg to the affected applications, isn't it? Just like a re-open of the Workbench screen would push. So the app's windows shou...

Re: HW-Sensors interface?
Well, i expect some kind of abstraction layer, installed with the OS, like x1000.resource and so on. The interface used by the docky would not know by itself which machine it is running on; instead it would ask for the machines name, and the number of sensors and their specifics and give the user a ...
